Yes... but some girls, like me, love sports because we play them and know the hard work and dedication that it takes to master a sport especially when someone is good enough to get paid for it! AND some girls, like me, have even played in a flag football league and know what it feels like to catch a touchdown pass. Yes, I have been in sports all through high school and undergrad. I continue to play, watch, and love many sports now that I am a physician. Some girls have fought for more and have earned more than the rest. Unfortunately, it's also what makes me intimidating to most men. :) Oh, and GO PACK!!!!!

My 18 yo daughter has chosen to stay a virgin until she's married. She's beautiful and has had several boyfriends. She is upfront about sex and they always say "that's cool. I admire that" but then 2-3 months down the road, they're pissy pollys because she says no. This is awesome. I remember a few years ago I went through a pretty hard break up, among other things going wrong, and I posted a private blog just to vent. A year later I went back and read it and realized how far I'd come in a year and, like you, I hadn't even noticed it while it was happening. I posted a new blog, attached to the original and it had the same ring to it as this blog. Occasionally when things are rough I go back and reread them to remind myself. Things really do always get better!
